ROME TIMES HOTEL, Rome – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel rooms are looking tired and could use some decorating, although they do come with nice decor and a complimentary mobile phone which was very helpful, especially with Google Maps. The service was top-notch, with staff going above and beyond to assist, although I found some areas lacking follow-through. The location is ideal for tourists, close to all landmarks and attractions, and the multilingual staff make communication easy. The dining options were satisfactory but could have been quicker, and the facilities were generally good.

The hotel room turned out to be just as spacious and well-appointed as the superior room, giving a pleasant surprise. However, the room felt very hot at times. The service from the staff was incredibly friendly and professional, making us feel welcome from the start. The location was superbly central, allowing easy access to major tourist sites, with the added convenience of a nearby metro stop. The dining experience was mostly satisfying, though one morning's cold cappuccino was a letdown. Overall, the hotel offered a pleasant stay with minor room temperature issues.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms, though modern, lacked spaciousness but were light, airy, and spotlessly clean. The buffet breakfast had plenty of variety, but my room's location facing external fire escape stairs and the interior courtyard made it seriously dark and somewhat depressing.
